What can the Challenge of Change do for me?

You know those days when everything just flows?  You were maybe a little stretched but you felt on top of the role, you found a clever way forward, the whole team benefited? You can have more of those by mastering the four simple steps in the Challenge of Change Resilience Training programme.  If you are unfortunate enough to have more times when you feel bogged down, overwhelmed and fed up, or bothered and preoccupied about the pressures of work and life, then this is the programme for you.

Personal Resilience

The Challenge of Change (CoC) Resilience Training programme is a unique evidence-based approach that teaches a simple 4-step strategy for enhancing resilience. The programme is based on enabling choice and empowerment - bad habits can be unlearnt and good ones can be learnt, allowing you to become truly resilient. With the CoC Resilience programme you can regain that feeling of being in control, of being focused and productive and not waste time worrying about the 'what ifs' and 'if onlys.'

People tend to think that coping is managing to keep your head above water. Resilient people are presumably those who can hold their breath longer when the flood rises, but this is just surviving. Real resilience is knowing there's no water to keep your head above.

The Profile

The course includes a unique pre-training questionnaire, The CoC Profile, which provides insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.  The results remain confidential at all times, but the training programme gives individuals personal understanding and new ways of coping with bad habits.

There are action-planning exercises built into the training session which provide clear commitments to changing behaviour, and a range of materials is provided to ensure continued practise of the training, including a comprehensive handbook and the downloadable mindfulness and relaxation exercises. Most importantly, there is a web-based follow-up programme, the Challenge of Change Refresher, to which unlimited access is provided for a period of 4 weeks commencing 90 days after the training session.
